MOTHERS PHONE MESSAGE PART II 4 YEARS LATER STILL RANTING WORSE LIKE MEL GIBSON!

MOTHERS PHONE MESSAGE IS MEAN!

MOTHERS PHONE MESSAGE POSTS TO DAUGHTER!

It's not easy to listen to!

HERE IS WHAT THE PUBLIC HAS SAID ABOUT MOTHERS PHONE MESSAGE

by Kym M Member since:

I only listened to a bit of it as it was too much. I have 4 daughters and 1 son and nothing they could ever do would make me rant and rave and say these such things. If this was me I wouldn't even bother making amends with her for anything. She doesn't deserve to have children. It doesn't matter if you are an angel or not , you never tell your child you want them to die or use profanities like that. I never knew there was such bad in the world. If you come out of that unscathed then best of luck in your life. Go out and live it without her.

by shawn

Just because a person is family doesn't mean that you have to have them in your life. I have family members who are just as hateful and rude, I do not talk to them! When I chose to involve these people in my life, I was always miserable and depressed, now that they are not involved in my life, I never see or talk to them I am very happy, I have a family of my own now, that is where my focus is, not on those people whom choose to be hateful and rude. NO child is perfect, we all make mistakes, and do and say things that we do not always mean. people say these things because they know they are hurtful and they know they will make you mad! Learn to live without these influences, learn to be happy with who you are and your family, and avoid drama, and people who seem to always want or cause drama! best of luck! sorry your mother is so heartless, learn from it and don't make the same mistakes!

Wow u must have the worst mom in the world, or you did some really bad stuff to her, dont have the whole story here so cant say much else

Well, I have been in your shoes. I have been cussed at and hit with punches as a little girl. When I became a teenager, I would runaway (for about a day) when she attempted to put her hands on me. When I made 18, I told her she had to respect me or don't talk to me at all. I still have a relationship, although not close. We have a better relationship apart then close. I was a good child, never got into trouble or disrespect her. I know from time to time she tells my brother things like that. My brother is totally dependent on my mom, that why he takes her crap (he is 25). All I can tell you is that don't stop being her daughter. Talk to her and let her know that she should respect you. If not, then tell her you will not listen when she disrespects you. But don't ever leave her alone. Despite what she is telling you, she still loves you (at least I hope so). My mom loved me but she just didn't know how to express her anger (she had a lot of issues). Anyway, do whatever you can to at least try to maintain some kind of relationship with you mom. Right now, I am 29, and as much as I would like to spend time with my mom, I can't, but I attempt to talk to her once or twice a week. I am there for her when she needs something. I think this is the time to be more understanding of her situation (even though it is not right.) Remember, you only get one mother. Try to make the best of it on your part. All I am saying is don't ever allow yourself to hate. Hope everything works out for the best.

by darkridr

The first step to bettering yourself is to take all of the bad and distance yourself from it. This, in this case, includes your mother. I personally found myself in a position where I had to do the same thing -- it certainly wasn't as bad as your situation, but bad enough. Now I live in a different state and have no contact with my family whatsoever -- and I'm much better off because of it. If you can start fresh, with no one who knows who you were, you can then work on a clean slate and possibly find people who will respect you. There are many times when family isn't necessarily blood, and in this case you need to create a new family -- close friends who you can count on and support to akin to siblings. The main key in this, though is to be sure never to contact not only your mother again, but also anyone who speaks to her, as she will ultimately get your information from him/her and further harass you -- which will destroy everything you'll be creating in your new life.
One more thing: I find it disturbing that you feel the need to atone for your past actions. While this is admirable, it is also unrealistic. You can never "make up" for things you've done in the past, so don't bother trying. People you've hurt will never comprehend it anyways. The best mindset is to wash your hands of what you were and do good things in your new life. By doing so, you will ultimately earn the respect and admiration of others -- and with that you will eventually be able to respect and admire yourself.

Best Man

I listen to the whole thing and your mother is an example of craziness contributed to a mother whose own mother had something called "Munchausen by Proxy" which is when the mother makes the child sick for attention and the victims of this disease usually the daughter will survive but become very childlike and resentful with her children, especially those that wander off and move to California far from her clutches which comes out in your mother's voice clearly; also how she demeans the daughter by pleading with the daughter's husband and blames a phone call on some other friend who let the daugther use his phone at his music studio and daugther wanted to tell mother how happy she was with a recording and try to make up but mother answered phone and rebuked daughter so made a "poof" sound and it went fromt here, from what I can gather from listening to this mothers phone message! Good luck with it all but I would try and make a life for you and your husband and friend with studio and forget about this crazy mother who has an incredible Jewish sounding Brooklyn voice! It's so weird how she grates on you but there is some harmony in that Brooklyn voice!

Concerned Mom

Do you want to work this out with her, and if so why? Do you feel at fault for something?.....and if you do and are at fault, but unable to speak with her I would suggest writing her a letter of apology. Think long and hard about what it is you would like to say, I would write the initial letter with the intent of never sending it, this will allow you to truly open up and put everything down on paper, a rough draft if you will. You can then revise the letter. I would use "I" statements, as in "I feel this way when you say this", don't use blaming statements. All of this advice is of course under the conditions that you actually owe her an apology. The recording is horrid, and frankly it sounds to me as though your mother owes you an apology, although I wouldn't hold my breath. However, the information that we or I as the reader is only one sided, I would need more details about the "root" cause of this situation to give you adequate advice. Sometimes we end up having to write off people, even those we love, or are "supposed to love us....a difficult truth indeed. For the time being I would block her telephone number, how can you possibly concentrate on bringing any closure to the situation while being subjected to this type of verbal abuse?

by Jon C.

I did get to hear Mothers Mean Message screaming call you were talking about (so don't worry about burning a CD w/ it). "Oh My God" is all I can say! It was listed in enough places when I googled it and I just kept clicking on until one played and it did! "OH MY GOD!".

S.S.W.

And why do you care. Apparently you two have some issues. You can't pick your parents - and she has torn up the parent card. When she dies, good riddance.
She probably has left you out of her will too.

by airjarro

I don't believe she can dictate who comes to her funeral.

by g g

Show up anyway, be the bigger person, show up pay your respects and leave.
Dont make a scene though and pray for her. In the bigger picture im sure deep down she wants you to be there!

by Survivors Ready

Wow! That is hard to fathom but not so hard to believe in this day and age. Unfortunately for you, it is her wish that you not attend so whatever the circumstances surrounding her reasoning (as long as she is of sound mind at the time of drafting the letter) be the bigger person and honor her wish.

by shasha

It sounds like you mother has been hurt by you so much that she is full of vile towards you. I don't know what issues arose between you, but one of you (the adult - you) should apologize and start a reconciliation. Your mothers heart is hurt and angry and no doubt yours is too. This has to end somewhere, why not with you, even if she is the one at fault.

by Working Class Hero Member since:

Honestly? I'm speechless. But I also think there's a lot of pain behind that message...for whatever reason...as well as misguided emotion. The opposite of love isn't hate...it's indifference. If the mother really hated her daughter...she wouldn't even take the time and energy to respond like this. Some people (wrongly) express pain as anger. I can't comment much more than that, since I don't know what all the circumstances are...but I think this woman is unreachable at this point. It's sad...but I think she needs to be left alone with her misery.

by mary*jan... Member since:

Do you think you might be feeding all of this by having a f*ckin website dedicated to your mother? lol ... yeah your mother ... you are giving her alot of attention it seems. Why not just ignore her? she doesn't seem like anyone worth having in your life... well I'm not sure what you did to her...

By Maryjane

It's very sad to hear anyone speak to another person this way. It seems you both may have unresolved issues regarding the death of your father. I hope you are able to resolve your issues with one another before it's too late. Maybe you should consult a family counselor.

by sara Member since:

Wow. What's there to say to that? She kinda sounds like my own mother, lol. And you know what? Frick her! You don't need that kinda crap in your life, honestly. I obviously don't know the ins and outs of your relationship, but here's what I think - you don't need toxic people in your life. There comes a point where maybe you just have to realize she's got some major issues and she isn't going to change, and it is what it is. Her loss in the end, not yours. The recording mentioned a husband, so hopefully you have a great relationship with him, and other good people in your life, and that's what's important. Let her stew in her own hate and malice, and have a great life, that'll bother her more than anything, trust me. Good luck!

by SANCHA Member since:

There is absolutely no reason - not even the paltriest excuse - for that sort of behavior. She does not depict a mother but rather some maniacal wacko. Talk about hatred! Frankly, if my mother had spoken to me that way, I would let her be. It would not matter whether she birthed me or not. I love myself far too much. Not that I would not be taken aback by it, but, I would get over it.

by BikiniQueen

Ignore what she says. Hardly anyone gets along with their parents and you're mother (according to the message I just listened to on your site) is a real ***** of a woman to ring up your husband and complain about you. It's up to you whether you're at her funeral or not, after all, you can't do much to prevent people from coming to your funeral when you're dead, can you?

by Jim J

This is sad. I see this kind of behavior all the time. Typically mom has low self-esteem and she transfers it on to her daughter. If you have/had a brother you may find she will be kinder to him. How to deal with it? You should have many issues. This is how you were raised. Seek help. I see you already spend so much time placing this on a blog spot and giving her your power. You are angry. You may feel depressed and likely you will need to work these emotions. Stop giving her power by placing all your energy into her actions. It's costs you so much and you have already endured the insanity for a very long time (all your life).

Steve Stifler Member since:

Wow is she mean I mean wow wow. I don't think she could hurt you I mean if you feel threatened get a police order so she cannot come near you and I would just ignore her. What kind of a mother says that to her own child. If shes upsetting you that much go see a psychologist about it and get a hold of her, you guys need to work this out deep down you both probably care about each other and you both mostly her need to get over certain issues, the way she yelled it sounds as if shes jealous of you having a better life than her. Good luck take care of it and don't let it go if something happens to either one of you the other person will never let that grudge against them self until the day they die they would never forgive themselves.

WOW!!!! SHE IS HARSH, MEAN AND MEAN!!!!!!! What kind of mother would do that? Call her own daughter a very bad word??!! Man if i were you i would completely change my phone number and if it is worth the risk, i would MOVE. So please thumbs up. Oh i didn't hear all of it, but i had enough cause that is just...just sad. Sorry but life can be really harsh these days. And i thought that it wasn't mothers and daughters, but i was wrong. Poor you and i hope everything works out.

by ummmgeee

Hey there... God bless you for wanting to work things out with your mother! In the bible it says, honor your mother and father so that thou days may be longer! God is definitely pleased...Now... i wish you'd print this out (your question and my answer) and give it to your mom. Maybe mail it to her... sometimes parents get very fed up with us and say things out of spite...but a mother's love never dies... she just needs to know you love her... and sometimes being in her face will prevent her from expressing her true feelings, vice versa! So write her a letter and attach it with this. In the letter be sure to tell her you love her. Don't bring up past times, but focus on future times. Let her know that you don't care about what's happened, but rather what will happen. Tell her you need her... and send her letters once a week. Sometimes send flowers, prayers, anything she likes, poems, etc... I can help you with some as well. Just e-mail me... I'll be praying and over time I do think she'll come around! :-) God bless you!

kimberly b Member since:

The bible also says do not provoke your children to anger .....i really dont know why you would want to continue a relationship with anyone who wishes those things on one of their own children. but honestly in the video, you didnt sound that upset by anything that she was saying, and if you did in fact call from someone elses phone and just make noises at her along with your tone at the end of the video.i really think that you feel the same about her ,you two have just let the battle go to far

Susan B.

If you even dare try and call her I will be very mad at you. No matter what you have done in the past that is not a good mother. your mom is a b****. I am sorry. but I have no words to describe what i am feeling. I would never speak to my daughter this way no matter how bad she is. Your mom can say all these bad about you but if she does not like the way she raised you then she only has herself to blame because she raised you. the best you can do is forget this woman (as if she were human)!

I answered your other question also but call her up and talk to her. Offer her your apology and see if she would be willing to forgive you, in the other question you didn't mention you did hateful things to her I might have to change my other answer. Honestly I think she still loves you but shes mad at you. All you can do is apologize and see if shes willing to make a truce with you and forget all the hurtful things both of you have said. I really don't know what else to say. Good Luck!

wow shes crazy. what did u do?

by Vergina Member since:

If you didnt figure it out by now, you never will. She is fuming over you blaming her that she killed her husband (your father I assume). This is a serious allegation you made against your mother and if you have no evidence you better shut up. You are mentally disturbed and you need serious help. And you are posting this like you are some small helpless girl and need protection?
Give me a break!

We are all getting bored with her ...

by Calebs Mom

I think you should give her a few days to calm down, then talk to her and tell her how you feel. You have to be calm also.......Good luck. sounds intimidating

I don't even know what ticked her off to begin with. It might be beyond repair. It's pretty crappy though that she calls the husband to tell him about her daughter. Ridiculous. I would expect more from a mature woman.

*** Complimentary When Angel's Fly Away Ringtone ***

I'll make a soldiers decision to fly away
Load my gun, paint my face, call me misery
I can see the sky light up and the ground explode
Got my sights locked in i can see you breathe
Then i watched you fall and somebody scream
Its the saddest thing when angels fly away

I cant be home tonight, i'll make it back its allright
No one could ever love me half as good as you
Gotta badge for my scars just the other day
Wore it proud for the sake of my sanity
[When Angel's Fly Away lyrics on http://www.metrolyrics.com]

I could see the flames burn bright from the windin road
Like a haunting page from our history
Watched a young girl cry and her mother scream
Its the saddest thing when angels fly away

I cant be home tonight, i'll make it back its allright
No one could ever love me half as good as you
If you cant be strong tonight, love makes you sad its allright
Noone could ever worry half as good as you

The Angel Closes Her Eyes And Thunder Crashes...

By Reike

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

06-14-2005

A part of me has always felt empty. That void slowly became filled with a rage, the likes of which, I discovered, I couldn’t control. However, I later discovered that for every force in this world is an equal and opposite force. Fire destroys Ice but is kept in check by Water. Beasts kill lizards but are hunted by plantoids. Thus is the evolution of Vana'diel. While this all appears to be natural, I can’t help but revel in the covert machinations of the true forces at work. What does it take, I wonder, to meet these unseen puppeteers?

Chapter 8: The Angel Closes her Eyes and Thunder Crashes…

I stood there…trying to catch my breath. Knees bent in a battle stance, my right hand grasped my flaming great sword while my left hand was rolled tightly around a bloody dragon fang that I ripped from the beast’s mouth. I stood in a puddle of dark blood…the fallen dark dragon lay in front of me…its severed head behind me.

“Looks like I missed all the action…” a voice echoed from the shrine’s corridors behind us. “What’s this?” The hume girl with flaming red hair and yellow get up waltzed onto the battlefield. She examined the corpse that lay before me.

“You’re—“ Serian began.

“The name’s Lion. How did a northland creature get down here? I thought the northlands were sealed after the Great War 20 years ago.” Then there was a gasp in the far corner of the shrine.

“My….master will avenge me…” the yellow one eyed demon was still alive. Serian drew his knife and went to finish off the demon.

“WAIT!!” Lion yelled out, “Who’s your master?!” The demon laughed with what energy he had left.

“The Shadowlord will return…I was simply making…preparations. You will…all…die…”

“The Shadowlord?” Ayame slowly got to her feet. Nurukiki helped support her and cast a few more minor Cure spells to bring her back to health.

“Ayame…what happened? You get lazy or something?” Serian bowed before the Musketeer.

“Don’t tell my father Serian. I’d be ashamed if he knew I nearly lost my life due to such a careless mistake.” Ayame bowed her head in shame. Lion walked over close to me. By this time I had collapsed to my knees, weakened.
“You okay?” she asked. I managed to nod slightly. As Lion helped me to my feet, Gungal came over to add support.

“We should be getting out of here…this warrior needs attention. I’ll go ahead and have the medics dispatched to the mines entrance.” Ayame saluted and teleported out of the shrine. Lion and Gungal helped me to the burning circle to teleport out of the shrine.

“So what happened to you?” Lion asked. I didn’t have the energy to respond.

“He destroyed that dragon single handedly. If I didn’t know any better I’d say he was possessed.” Gungal explained. Lion just looked forward as if she knew something.

“Well we’re lucky you all showed up when you did. I just hope that demon was lying…” Gungal and Lion helped me down on the burning circle. Nurukiki ran up and sat next to me.

“You take care of him Nuru. We’ll meet you outside.” Aburonte commanded her. The tarutaru saluted. The room began to distort again and I slowly feel into darkness.

… … … … …

“If he doesn’t live, can I sell off his armor? I need the gil badly.”

“Don’t talk like that, kupo!!! He’ll be fine!”

“Shoot…he’s moving!”

“You sound so disappointed, kupo. Reike!! Reike!!! Wake up Reike!! Can you hear me?! Reike?!!??!” The room was bright. Light was beaming through the half open slits of my eyes. I wanted to slip back into the darkness. As cold as it was, it felt much warmer there. Unfortunately, my daze was quickly cured when a moogle hand cracked the side of my cheek. Despite being stunned, I sat up, banging my head off the low hanging light that Poku had set up to observe me while I was out.

“Reike! You’re awake, KUPO!!!” I rubbed my head and could feel the spot where I hit it become warm as the bump was forming. I was tempted to attack Poku for smacking me, but I knew better.

A few hours later, I felt well enough to report my findings to the consul atop the Metalworks. Unfortunately my memory of what actually happened was a blur but I remembered the important things.

“Reike of Windurst here to give my report to the consul of Windurst in Bastok!” I saluted and the consul nodded for me to give my report. “We encountered the leader of the beastmen forces. It was a one-eyed demon who had the ability to summon a nether dragon from the northlands. We defeated the dragon and the demon. Before the demon died, however, we were able to discover who sent the demon here to begin with. The demon was sent to prepare for the Shadowlord’s resurrection!!”

“Whataru?! This is urgent news!! Head back to Windurst and inform the Star Sybil immediately!! This can’taru wait Reike!! Get a move on!!” I saluted and left.

Upon exiting the Metalworks, Lil’Patrick ran up to me with a large grin on his face. He held his hands behind his back, hiding something from me.

“Hey Reike-o-the-Lake! I got something for you as a thank you for bringing me down here!” He held out both his hands to reveal a large sum of gil. I staggered back, shocked at how much the little taru had acquired.

“Patrick?! How’d you get 15,000 gil?! You didn’t sell off my armor did you!?”

“No no no…I went to the alchemy guild in the Galkan district and made a whole bunch of antidotes!! Then I convinced some dumb adventurer that they were all X-potions and sold’m for 2,500 gil each!!” He closed his eyes and smiled. I could sense he was so proud.

“Are you serious?” I took the gil from Patrick, “Didn’t your mother ever tell you that it’s not nice to trick people!?”

“I never had a mother-buther…”

“Oh….” For the first time, Patrick and I could relate…

“STOP!!! THEIF!!!” I looked down the road near the residential area to see a tall elvaan with spiky flaming red hair running at Patrick and me.

“THAT TARU SOLD ME FAULTY MERCHANDISE!!! STOP HIM!!!” the elvaan pointed at Patrick. My little comrade turned to me, saluted, and bolted off towards the port to hide in the warehouses.

“DON’T JUST STAND THERE!!! STOP HIM!!!” the elvaan was yelling at me now as he approached. As I watched Lil’Patrick run towards the dock, I looked at the mass amount of gil he obtained. A thought occurred to me. As the elvaan passed by, against my better judgment, I slipped my foot to the side. Not a second later did the elvaan get a warm, painful greeting from the cobblestone roads of Bastok. I tried not to laugh. I mean, who wouldn’t see that coming? Honestly!

“You bastard!” the elvaan got to his feet, grabbed my neck and slammed me against the stone wall of the Metalworks. I felt my feet lift off the ground and suddenly I began to wonder if this was really worth 15,000 gil.

“Relicbane!! He’s getting away!!” a hume with dark brown hair, cut similarly to mine, ran by. The elvaan smirked out of the corner of his mouth and let go of my neck. He closed his eyes, running his fingers through his hair. He looked at me, winked then ran off towards the port.

“Thanks amigo!!!” he yelled back at me. I stared at him confused. I then realize what he meant when I reached into my pocket.

“THE BASTARD STOLE MY 15,000 GIL!!!”

“Reike!” Before I could pursue the thief, Serain’s voice echoed from within my pocket. I reached inside to pull out my linkpearl Crimsonrain had given to me after I had arrived in Selbina. “Reike, I have something to ask you. Do you think you could meet me at the Crag of Dem?” I nodded.

“Reike? Are you there?!”

“Oh! Yeah!! Sorry. I nodded yes…didn’t realize you can’t see me.”

“Hahaha! Well, meet me here as soon as you can. I have a few things I have to ask you.”

“Ok Serian. I’ll be leaving in a few.”

… … … … …

I packed some food into my bag and slung it over my shoulder. Poku cleaned up the Rent-a-Room. I told him to wait here in case Lil’Patrick managed to escape the thief he conned.

“Don’t forget Poku, ask Patrick if he’s willing to stay in Bastok and handle my financial stuff for me.”

“I can’t believe you’re leaving your money matters to a kid.”

“That kid’s pretty street smart. If you saw how much he made in a single second you’d change your mind too.”

“Ok…I’ll tell’m.” I waved goodbye to Poku and made my way through the streets to the stables in the far south of Bastok. The guards had already prepared Boko’s saddle and I was on my way through Gustaberg. The moon glowed with a purple haze and gave a soft light that cast a shadow on the rough terrain. I could see in the distance the glow of a camp fire. At first I thought some miners had been out late, but then I saw the large bodies of Quadav’s huddled around the flames. My mind blanked out and I could see my father slaying the beastmen who ambushed us as we approached these gates seventeen years ago. I closed my eyes, trying to forget about the memory. Instead, I focused on the wind caressing my face and the tears from my eyes.

Boko slowly proceeded through the winding trails of the highlands until we reached a clearing. Windmills littered the country side. Next to the rushing winds, you could hear the rumbling of the windmill’s gears in the silence of the night. Off in the distance, illuminated by the moon’s glow, I could see the Crag of Dem towering over the mountains of the highlands. What force had created such a majestic structure?

Serian was examining one of the gate crystals that are placed around the Crag. He stopped what he was doing when he heard Boko and me arrive. I dismounted and placed Boko’s reigns around his neck. I approached Serian.

“You have your own chocobo? And he follows you around?” I turned around to see Boko had followed me over to Serian and placed his head over my shoulder. I smiled, rubbing Boko’s beak. I took a gyshal green from my bag and held it up for him to eat. Serian smiled.

“Ah…you tempt him with food,”

“Nah…We just understand each other. So what did you want me here for?”

“It’s about what happened in the Palborough Mines. Reike, you went crazy and took that dragon out! You stabbed it in the neck, stabbed it in the eye with its own tooth that you ripped out of its mouth, and severed its head with one blow! I don’t know about you man but that’s not normal!!”

“Is that what happened?”

“What…you don’t remember?” I shook my head. Silence fell between us. I looked up to say something, but felt a sting in the side of my neck. As I reached for it, I pulled out a needle.

“Ouch…” Serian pulled a similar needle from his neck. We looked at each other, then drew our weapons. Quadavs roared as they charged from around the Crag. I tried to lift my blade, but suddenly it was too heavy. I looked at Serian to see him swaying back and forth where he stood. Before I could reach out to support him, I fell to the floor.

… … … … …

‘Reike…my little Reike. I wish I could come play with you, but I’m feeling very sick…’

‘You should go help your father. He enjoys having you around you know.’

‘I will always be watching over you my beautiful child. So please, don’t be sad…’

‘I love you…my little Reike…’

My dream faded, but I kept my eyes closed. I still felt tired. This was the second time I’ve been knocked out in the past day. That can’t be good for a person's health. In any case, I felt weak. There was a nasty sludge smell and against all my instinct, I wanted to know what it was. Slowly, I decided, I’d open my eyes. The room was fairly dark, lit by some torches. I lazily rolled my head to the side to see Serian sitting on the floor, bound in ropes next to me. I then tried to move my hands and feet, failing to make any progress as my hands and feet were bound as well. In the center of the room was an odd shaped device that had a blue mist around it. I didn’t know what it was but it seemed to affect the entire area. I rolled my head back over to Serian.

“……………” I was confused. I tried to yell his name….but no sound.

“……………!!!!” Still nothing! I began to panic a bit. Then a door opened to the room and a Quadav walked in.

“Good…the prisoners are awake! Tell Guu his gladiators are ready for the show!!” The Quadav shut the door behind him as he left. Gladiators? I knew I had to escape immediately, but how I was going to do that was still to be decided. I needed my weapon. I needed Serian. And most importantly, I needed to find Boko!! I started to fiddle with the ropes. The knots weren’t too complicated but it was hard to see how the rope was tied when my hands were bound behind my back.

“STOP HER!!!” I heard some Quadavs yelling outside. The sound of thunder rolled through the caverns and metal ripping through flesh and cracking bone gave the impression that there was an intruder. The battle sounds grew near until they stopped outside the door. The silence loomed over the musty air for a moment. I was startled by a loud creek as the latch moved. The cell door slowly opened. A figure in black armor stepped through, a scythe on its back. I quickly identified the intruder. It was Crimsonrain!! Her helmet was cracked in half and parts of her armor were broken but she wore it as if nothing had struck her. She quickly moved over to Serian and I, cutting our bonds and slapping Serian awake.

“You two okay?” I went to speak only to utter pure silence. Crimson looked at me a bit muddled then turned to the machine in the center of the room. She drew her scythe and in one powerful blow, severed the machine.

“We’ll get you a potion to remedy the silence effect when we get back to Bastok. Let’s hurry!” Renata ran in the room carrying my inferno sword and Serian’s knives. We equipped our weapons and made our way out the caverns to the swamp above. Crimson took the lead and held out her hand for us to stop while she surveyed the area. When all seemed clear she signaled for us to follow. This stop and go technique brought us all the way to the entrance of Beadeaux.

The gate appeared unguarded. Crimson decided we should make a run for it. As we dashed through the mucky waters of the swamp, a horde of Quadav stood up from underneath the swamp water. They had been waiting to ambush us!! A bunch swarmed in and grappled all four of us. Serian flipped backward over top his captor. When he landed, he drove his knives deep into the soft spots behind the Quadav’s shell. Crimson closed her eyes and uttered a few words. Flames screeched up from the swamp waters, incinerating the beastmen swarming her. Pulling her scythe from her back, Crimson’s massacre began. The Quadavs holding Renata began to drag her back into Beadeaux. Serian pursued but found himself walking into a snare that hung him like a hunter’s fresh kill. I struggled to break free with brute strength. I remembered that fury…that rage. I wanted it to come out and save everyone. Nothing. I tried to yell, but the words came out as air.

Crimson let loose a yell as a Quadav blade finally broke her offensive onslaught and pieced her shoulder. She fell to her knees.

NOOOO!!!!!

I twisted my arms around my captures, locking us together. I leaned over and with all my might I leaped into the heavens, three Quadavs dangling from my arms and back. I felt the red aura engulf me and the rage was released once again. Like throwing a disc, I chucked the two Quadavs that were locked onto my arms down to the earth. I reached over my head, grabbing the shoulders of last Quadav and chucked him on top of the other two. While I was still in the air, I drew my great sword and dove down upon my prey, puncturing all three on my blade. I looked over towards Crimson. The Quadav warrior that had pierced her shoulder was about to finish her off. I dashed in between Crimson and her would be assassin. The red aura faded and I threw my arms to the side, closing my eyes. From behind the cover of my eyes, I saw a blue light flash. As I opened my eyes again, I saw a blue shield covering Crimson and myself. The Quadav on the other side was trying to break through. In my amazement, I dropped my arms, however, as I did, the shield vanished!! The Quadav lifted his blade to strike.

“Thunder!!” A bolt of lightning ripped from the sky, smiting the beastman. I heard a thud behind me and Crimsonrain collapsed at my feet. Serian had broken from his snare and rescued Renata. They dashed by on Boko, pulling a cart behind them. They stopped long enough for me to lift Crimson into the cart and jump. As the Quadav squad closed in, I reached in my bag. There I had found the firecracker the moogle gave me awhile back. I pulled the string and a large ball of light launched into the air, exploding in a bright light. It had blinded our enemies long enough for us to make our escape.

… … … … …

Renata used what cure spells she could to heal Crimson’s wounds, but it appeared that the Quadav made a potentially fatal blow. Crimson’s head rested in Renata’s lap. I sat in the corner of the cart, looking ahead while Serian steered Boko towards Bastok. The silence was broken by Crimsonrain. She reached up her hand, patting Renata on the shoulder.

“Please….stop the cart…” she muttered. Serian pulled on the reigns, stopping Boko. Crimson pointed a finger at me.

“Could you two….leave Reike and I….alone…” Renata nodded. Crimson grappled the side of the cart and slowly pulled herself up. I leaped off the side of the cart and helped her to the ground. I took her arm around my shoulders and we walked along the highland grass. The light of the moon was gone and the morning haze was bringing another kind of light to the sky.

“I wanted to say I’m sorry…” Crimson said. I looked at her confused.

“I’m sorry that you had to grow up……without me…” Crimson stopped on a hill where there was a lone tree. Slowly, I helped her down on the grassy hill over looking the windmills.

“You know that…the Shadowlord is returning…don’t you? Reike, the Shadowlord killed your father…” I tried to speak…but still no words. Crimson pulled a small vial from her glove and handed it to me.

“Drink it…” I did as she instructed.

“Gah…that’s nasty! Hey! I can talk!” she nodded. “How do you know about my father?” Crimson’s eyes began to brim over with tears as she bit her lower lip.

“You don’t remember my face do you?” I squinted my eyes as if expecting to see some hidden doorway. It was then I realized…that we had that same eyes.

“I don’t blame you for not remembering. It was so long ago. But afterwards, I couldn’t rest. The Shadowlord’s power flooded over to the dream world, disrupting the rest of those there. When your father died, I sold my soul to the Shadowlord so that I could come back and protect you. Reike, I kept my promise for as long as I could. I have always watched over you…” Crimson placed her hand on my face. My eyes were wide and my mouth a gape. I held back the tears from this revelation. Slowly, I managed to lift my hand and touch her face. When I did, I felt her soul. She was….my mother.

She pulled me close and we embraced. I felt the tears of happiness rush through me, my emotions released. Her one arm held me tight against her. I pulled away to look at her face once more.

“But how? You look so young?!”

“I am how I was when I died…,” she smiled.

“Mom…you’re so beautiful!”

“And you’ve grown…to be so handsome…..just like your father,” I smiled. A wisp of light rose up from the ground and into the air. I followed it with my eyes

“Wow…what’s that?” I naively asked. I looked back down at my mother; her happy expression had turned somber. More wisps began to float into the air. It was then I noticed that the wisps were coming from her. Her image fluttered and she closed her eyes. I could see tears dripping down her face. I went to go wipe them away, by my hand passed through her like air.

“What’s going on? Mom? Mom are you okay?” I began to panic. I tried to touch her shoulder, her arm, her face but I couldn’t.

“I have to go now Reike…But I promise...I’ll still watch over you. I love you…my little Reike…” Her body disappeared and a massive amount of wisps swirled in the air where she was. A gust of wind passed through the hills taking the wisps with it.

“NO!! MOM!!! COME BACK!!” Tears streamed down my face in floods. I tried to gather the wisps in order to put her back together. The wind carried the small glowing lights further into the sky. I ran after them!

“MOM!!! DON’T LEAVE ME!!! MOM!!!!” I stopped on a hill, windmills all around me. I stood there looking into the sky as the wind carried the wisps high into the clouds towards the rising sun. My tears flowed down my face; the wind carried some of them away. In vain, I reached up into the sky one last time. I was left with the soft rumbling of the windmills. My throat swelled up and I collapsed to the dirt…crying.

… … … … …

I don’t know how long I was there. The sun had been blanketed out by the clouds. Thunder rolled across the highlands and lightning lit the sky. I remained there, hunched over on the ground. I ran out of energy to cry. There was nothing left. Then, from up in the sky I saw a light. It gracefully fluttered down towards me. As it drew near, I recognized it as a wisp. I anxiously got to my feet, reaching into air for it. When it was in my grasp, I snatched it from the sky. I slowly opened my hand. To my surprised, I held a ruby.

“Is this from my mother….?” I asked myself.

“Reike!!” Renata yelled over the thunder. She was on top of a hill on the back of a chocobo. She waved and ran across the valley towards me. Poku was on Boko’s back following close behind her.

“Reike! Where’s Crimsonrain?”

“She…disappeared…”

“What!?! Where to?” I pointed to the sky.

“I didn’t think she’d make it…We should head back Bastok and have a proper ceremony,” I nodded and mounted Boko’s back. Poku turned around and looked at me.

“Have you been crying?” he whispered. I shook my head.

"It's the rain," Poku held out his hand, looking into the sky.

"But it hasn't even rained yet..."

… … … … …

“…So let us never forget our great leader the one we only know by the name of Crimsonrain.” Serian lowered his head and stepped down from the podium. Everyone stood up and waited in line to pay their respects to the empty casket in front of the alter. I stood in the back of the room, looking at the shattered linkpearl my mother gave me. I assume, when she died, the pearl shattered.

“Are you Reike?” a Galkan child looked up at me. He had a piece of paper in his hand and a small hood over his head.

“’Hoy. There somethin’ I can do for you?” the boy handed me the paper he held.

“The Captain of the Mythril Musketeers received this letter and thought it was for me but it’s addressed to a Mr. Reike of Windurst. You’re him aren’t you?” I nodded.

“That be me.” I opened the letter and skimmed through it. I was more curious as to who it was from. I turned the letter around where it was continued. There I found the name I was looking for. Apparently I was summoned to Palborough Mines by someone named Zeid.

Great story. I think the death of some of the characters adds to the story.

2) a lot of friends I met when i first started playing, like Duecs or Crimsonrain, have either stopped playing the game all togeher or have moved on to other characters/servers to be with their friends. so...uh....i kill'm off ^_^

www.wishihadthat.comIf you were an Angel what could you do to make a difference?

What would you do? To some this is an overwhelming question. The first thought that would go through many minds is " What I do wouldn't make much of a difference ... I am only one person." Get past that! Remember ... the question is if you were an Angel. Angels can be everywhere, be all and do all as they are messengers of God.

With that in mind ... now answer the question. What would you do? Start small. Start with your community. What could you do to bring about change? Remember, we are talking baby steps here. Baby steps become giant steps once you get started.

First make a list ... write down each idea or thought as it comes.

Here is an example of a 'What Would I do Angel List':

• How or what could I do as an Angel to make a difference?

• Is there an area in my community that could possibly use my help?

• What areas am I good at?

• I can sing

• I am good with computers

• I really like to cook

• I love to read

• I am good with children

• I can draw and paint

• I love to drive

• I am good at sports

• I am good at math

• I am good with the elderly

• I am good with business

• How can I use this list of what I am good at to benefit others ... to serve the public in the areas of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual growth?

Once you have the list then you have a direction to go in. See what is available in your area that may already have a program in progress that could use your services, check out the community colleges, maybe teach a class or be a tutor, read to the elderly or just keep them company, be a friend ... the list is endless ... someone can use your gifts and abilities. You can make a difference just sread your wings and fly!

Angels are people who care about others, willing and wanting to make a difference. This is the main ingredient. Angels are dedicated to enriching the quality of life. They assist in creating heaven on earth in a joyful way.

If you were an Angel ... what would you do?

If I were an angel,
I'd be right next to you.
I would be your guide,
And I'd help you to be true.

As I saw your face,
And the tears began to fall.
I would use my loving hands,
And wipe away them all.

I would wrap my wings around you,
And hold you very tight.
Then the joy and happiness you had,
Would shine so very bright.

I would go with you everywhere,
It would seem I'm in disguise.
No one would know I'm there,
Unless looking through your eyes.

You know that it is certain,
I'll be with you everywhere.
And everywhere you turned,
You'd know that I was there.

That was beautiful, and touching!

Positive music often inspires and empowers people to feel good, to contribute, to bring out the best in themselves. It can now be heard on the Internet by David Creative, where he believes it will have the largest collection of positive music in the world. The vision and passion of David Creative and his positive music together with good lyrics is going to "Breakout" and show the world. It's a new genre of music to acknowledge and promote the positives of the world. David Creative's music and performances are in a wide range of musical styles — from pop, rock, jazz and blues, to folk, spiritual, Latin, and even rap — all with the desire to spread a message of peace, unity, and empowerment.

This music is not telling people how to live their lives. Its primary message is to encourage us to feel good about our lives and to open up to the greater potential that is a part of each of us.

There is a desire in America and elsewhere for more positive media. There's a growing understanding that what we focus on becomes our reality. Why not start with the kind of music we listen to? Why not create and listen to music that speaks to what's good in our lives, to what is possible, to what we all share as human beings.

Songs are like mantras. When we hear things over and over again we begin to experience those messages and feelings in our own lives. I think we're all feeling like we want to experience more peace, more purpose, more connection to the world around us.

Good versus Evil

Buddhism is Simplicity Itself

For many centuries, Buddhist monks have been sent to many areas, one by one, in all possible directions to all parts of the world, to teach their religion to others. Their only possessions are the robes they wear and their begging bowls. Many of the younger monks worry about how to survive during these trips but they all received the same very simple advice: “Spread the word, do not fear for yourself, open yourself to the world and live from love. You can achieve this by giving to the world, instead of taking from it. Study yourself, which means the same as forget yourself”.

Buddhism is simplicity itself. It is going back to basics where often problems can be solved simply, even large global problems. One of these global problems is the fight of good against evil. There is a Buddhist approach to this which is surprisingly very simple and which also has the solutions at hand. For Buddhism is based on the good-evil conflict, formed by opinions and beliefs, which each of the individual opponents of good and evil often completely contradict.

Bush and bin Laden, Both Fighting Evil

Here is a perfect example using the American democratic president George W. Bush and the Saudi-born terrorist and Al Qaeda group leader Osama bin Laden.

According to them, they both represent good fighting evil.

According to himself and his followers, it is President Bush who is representing the good, meaning freedom, justice and democracy. He fights against evil, meaning the Islamic extremists who are making terrorist attacks by a jihad or “holy war”, to stop the West invading their Muslim world.

To defend themselves, the Americans are killing Islam terrorists but also thousands of innocent Muslim men, women and even children. Apart from the biggest dramas which occurred during the first Gulf war and in Afghanistan, the war in Iraq keeps on demanding these innocent Muslim lives.

Bin Laden, on the other hand, represents, according to himself and his followers, the good, the Muslim world. He also fights against evil, meaning in his case the Americans and all of their allies, who are invading and occupying the Muslim territories, using corruption, violence and domination. To defend themselves, the Muslims kill American soldiers but also thousands of innocent western men, women and even children. Apart from the biggest drama of the September 11 terror attacks on the U.S., suicide bombers and all kinds of terrorist attackers keep on claiming innocent Western lives.

Also, Bush and bin Laden want to purify the world by eliminating evil. This was also the strategy of other leaders of world history such as Mao Tse Tung, Stalin and Hitler. They also represented (according to themselves) the good which had to eliminate the evil. Theoretically it is very possible but the only real problem here is the exact description of the good and the evil. This has resulted in one of the most important sources of why evil exists in the world and the human attempt to destroy evil.

The most frightening aspect is that everybody, including you and me, actually like the hard battle between good and evil. In every movie, story and game there are the bad guys: impolite, merciless, maniacal bastards. Because they are killing people, often innocent people, it is also OK to kill them, usually in a bloody and terrifying way. Because we always represent the good and they represent the evil, killing seems to be justified. Even in present day realistic world, the media have the “sell” this good versus evil scenario to be successful and to use this never-ending cycle of hate, war and destruction for commercials success.

The 3 Roots of All Evil

Buddhism gives us the exact description of evil. According to Buddhism, evil is no essence or substance on its own but the product of impermanent courses and conditions. The 3 roots of the end concept of “evil” are greed, ill will and delusion.

GREED is wrong; it could, for example, be the original trigger for the Americans to control the oil supplies in Muslim countries. That makes it indirectly the basic course of terrorist attacks.

Concerning ILL WILL, the old Buddhist laws say that the hate in this world is never appeased by ill will but ill will is always appeased by love. Thereby also bad memories are harboured, only strengthening ill will.

Fundamental DELUSION is, according to Buddhism, the wrong feeling of separation from the world and the people in it. It involves manipulation of others in order to get what we want, which causes resentment for both.

These 3 roots of evil (greed, ill will and delusion) only have negative results. They are also intertwined so they can not be separated from each other.

What, according to Buddhism, also can not be separated is good and evil. You will understand this abstract view very quickly. To be good, you first have to get to know evil and from then on constantly fight evil to stay good. That is also the same system with other contrary positions, such as rich and poor. To appreciate richness, it’s good that you were poor once before. Then you also have to fight the prospect of poverty constantly. Also living a pure life can only be reached to avoid impurity constantly. In good versus evil, it can cost human lives.

World Peace Theoretically Possible

To eliminate evil, it is necessary to eliminate its 3 roots, which are greed, ill will and delusion.

GREED MUST BECOME GENEROSITY, which is easy reachable. It needs some discipline and the attitude of “enough is enough”. Sharing with others should solve many problems all over the world.

ILL WILL MUST BECOME LOVING KINDNESS, meaning that is not ill will which determines that you’re always on the good side, as Abrahamic religions do.

DELUSION MUST BECOME WISDOM, which means building up self-knowledge so that you understand exactly its motivations.

This wisdom also contains the understanding that “nobody is an island” and that we all dependent on others. We are a part of each other, different facets of the same jewel which is called earth. Out of these laws of dependability exist love in a wide sense, emphasizing compassion, generosity and loving kindness. We all form a community of subjects with a web of interactive processes. That means that we are responsible for each other, even for the ones we hate, including delusion-filled terrorist and their accomplices. If delusion becomes wisdom, for example, the answer to the crucial question of why Muslims hate Americans can be found.

Fear is a Determining Factor for Wars and Conflicts

There are still more changes needed to make world peace theoretically possible.

Angriness is not a source emotion, rather a kind of smoke-screen emotion for fear. To show fear in modern culture is seen as a sign of weakness. Still, it is this fear which triggers aggression and violence. This will make you understand conflicts much better. Americans fear Muslims terrorists and Muslim terrorist fear Americans.

TAKING AWAY THE FEAR will also take away the aggression and the violence. If fear increases, so does the aggression. The solution is to tap into the heart of it all and take away the fear. Suicide bombers aren’t afraid to die because they believe in paradise. In that case it is better to put fear in their minds and take away their belief in the hereafter and the promise of paradise. If they realize that painful and terrible death is awaiting them and that this is the very end, there would be less suicide bombers prepared to die.

In all of us is a thin line between good and evil. This is why Buddhism suggests INDIVIDUAL INTER DISARMING by analysing the battle between good and evil independent of own ideals and religions. RELIGIOUS TOLLERANCE is a necessity and especially UNCOUPLING FROM POLITICTS AND RELIGION. The 9/11 attacks were obviously political deeds inspired by religion. By focussing on the intersection between religion and politics, good an evil can be better comprehended. Muslims don’t want Western colonisation and domination. Allah is their god of justice and they want to keep it that way. Separating law and religion for them is out of the question. Further more, Islamites believe that everything belongs to God so that Westerns capitalism is the complete opposite, so Americans steal from their God. To make the difference between good and evil WE ARE DEPENDENT ON OURSELVES and not dependent on supernatural forces and the help of gods. World peace is possible, more than just theoretically. Conflicts with historic roots, religions and wrong descriptions of good and evil, passed on from generation to generation, make it much more difficult.

Mourning over Terrorists and their Victims

The Buddhist attitude distinguishes the sinner from the sin. The minds of war-making world leaders and terrorists are often overwhelmed by greed, ill will and delusion. Despite that, they still have a Buddhist nature and still can realize the evil of their actions. Buddhists try to atone for them by mourning over the deaths of the terrorists as well as of the deaths of their victims. It has to be mentioned clearly that Buddhism sees no justification in the killing of thousands of innocent Western victims during, for example, the 9/11 attacks and that the guilty ones must go on trial. This is important not only for those people who suffered from it but also for the global community. Such attacks must be stopped. Also the retaliation which killed thousands of innocent Muslim victims are without any justification. The whole cycle of violence must be broken. Violence does not solve violence, it never did and it never will. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. If men keep on retaliating and avenging both sides of every conflict, destructive wars are going to lead a life on their own. That way, for example, the massive U.S. retaliation has brought on a new generation of suicide bombers and terror group leaders, all eager to play their part in the holy war. If we do see and realize the intertwined roots of all this evil, inclusive of our own responsibility and noticing the good things out of the present conflicts, it could prevent future conflicts. By studying good versus evil, world peace is possible in theory; which is still a hopeful start for our future generations and that is your and my responsibility.

Example of a “Self Improver”

Making a Good Last Impression

Making a good first impression is of huge importance and very decisive in the future relationship of a person you meet for the first time.

But making a good last impression is of the same huge importance in order to keep the relationship going smoothly, every time you leave them, over and over again.

Leaving the person behind toward the end of the conversation with a positive promise makes them look forward to meet you again soon.

It is the perfect last impression when you have taken the final goodbye with a good joke, so there is laughter, even after you have left your companion. That is how they will remember you.

Never leave people behind with unfinished business, a quarrel, negative remarks, unfair or unjustified criticism or remind them that a certain problem still exists. This would be a bad last impression that only will get worse during your absence over time. That’s because there is nobody around to defend your point of view. There surely will times when you want or leave a boring meeting or some disturbing people earlier than planned. To retreat yourself without falling into that last bad impression, here are some possibilities to end a meeting earlier with a good last impression.

Let them know beforehand that you have to leave sooner or that your presence is limited before the meeting starts. That can be done by fax, letter or email or simply mention this at the very beginning of the meeting. But be sure that you give your earlier retreat a very important reason, which others will accept as being important enough to leave them for it earlier than planned, even if it is not completely true.

Every host will understand, for example, a once-yearly ceremony, event or a critical condition of a family member in hospital as a reason to leave. That way you still make a clean getaway. But even this kind of early departure will have to be done with a positive and good last impression by a positive promise and a laugh.

This system is important for keeping long term relations going and works for friends, family members and business partners, whether you like them or not.

Paul McCartney : ”I’m Kind of ordinary”

Lennon-McCartney: a Rival Cooperation

The Beatles made history and became extremely popular and famous. They did their last world tour in 1966 but the Beatle-hits became classics and survived the hard teeth’s of time.

Almost all of the greatest Beatle hits were writhen by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Paul is in the meantime a fresh looking man in his sixties (born in …….), who we can find still working in his London office with behind him a wall flour-to-ceiling full of gold and platinum records. These records only have a symbolic value and in principle can not be played. But Paul McCartney does remember at times when The Beatles received their first golden album “Please Please Me”. They took it home and listen to it. It played all right but it was music from their rivals The Rolling Stones.

Every time Paul was writhing songs, a kind of magic was around which is a kind of destiny spiritual magic, nothing to do with God or something supernatural magic. This if for Paul himself an unexplainable magic but it sure is more than welcome and it helped him to write a long list of world hits. During the Beatle period wrote Paul McCartney almost all of the songs together with John Lennon. Although all of the four Beatles had already a very strong relationship, it gave this specific relation between John and Paul an extra strong dimension. They were both cool, enormously driven and had an intense desire to success which that could be reached by their songs. Lennon and McCartney wrote a total of 194 Beatle songs. A few more unpublished songs, they have made even before the Beatles period.

A normal writing session took about 3 hours for John and Paul. The most amazing fact about it was that after every session, they finished a complete song. About 200 days, Paul sat with John and they always had fun with not even 1 dry moment. The same magic was around out but it have to be mentioned that those two were enormously good in what they we doing. The love for music they developed into skill. When Paul brought in a song, John stiffens a bit and when John brought in a song, Paul stiffens. It became a stairway of achievement, rather than a normal plateau out. This collegial friendly competitive rivalry cooperation was healthy and brought the best out of the two writers every time again into one super product.

Still in War with Yoko Ono

The healthy Lennon-McCartney rivalry became rather unhealthy during the Beatles split and their business disputes. Both friends had decided long before on a temporary basic, to put both names as Lennon/McCartney. John’s name came first because it sounded better and it was an alphabetical order.

But with the “Yesterday” song, Paul insisted to put his name first and to break the temporary agreement about the names follow order. So at first on the “Yesterday” song, it was planned to mention “by Paul McCartney and John Lennon”. The song was original played by an unknown pianist in a restaurant where both friends often came. That’s the reason why John claimed that he had nothing to do with this song and finally alone Paul’s name suppose to come under it as a solo project. But Yoko Ono, who has been passes the legal rights and the power, refused to accept this agreement. This started a whole thing which questioned who exactly wrote the “Yesterday” song. Both friends singed every song, rather it is from John of from Paul as “Lennon/McCartney”.

“Fool on the Hill”, “Hey Jude” and “Let it be” for example, were Paul’s idea and still both names were mentioned on it. But Yoko on the other hand does publish numbers only mentioning John Lennon. “Yesterday” was the very first song which made Yoko Ono and Paul McCartney on a foot of war over author’s rights. The last words about this business dispute aren’t said at all. But nothing and nobody ever can disturbed the respect and brother love that Paul McCartney had and always will have for John Lennon, a band for eternity.

“If Linda was Alive, I’ll be Dead Meat”

The first period after Linda’s tragically dead, she dead at ………

Paul was rowing a whole year. Than he suddenly started working very hard. The album “Run Devil Run” came out which was also Linda’s desire when she was still alive. “The CD Collection of the Beatles nr 1 Singles” sold 22 million copies worldwide. Paul wrote “The Beatles Anthology Book”, also he publish a coffee table book “Paul McCartney Paintings” and black Bird Singing”, full of poetry and lyrics. Also a 2 hours documentary about Wings and a CD with Wings greatest hits appeared. Finally McCartney’s solo album “Driving Rain” came out, all of this happened within a 2 years period. After that Paul get his life power back and saw a bright future ahead.

Paul went to an award ceremony in London which gave rewards to people with courage and doing good things for others. He gets in contact with this organisation via Princess Diana. Heather Milis received on that evening an award, she herself lost a leg below the knee when she was hit by a motorcycle. Heather gave other amputees courage to go on with their lives, she was their example. When Paul saw Heather receiving that award, he notices she was so good looking. That was surprising because he hadn’t thought about another woman for 30 years while he was with Linda. A few business meetings follow between Heather and Paul concerning her charity work called “Adopt-a-Minefield” (www.adoptaminefield.org). Because of Heather’s abnormal youth, she missed a lot and didn’t know much about The Beatles. Paul helps her to hook up with the United Nations, they met Collin Powell about it and money gets collected from organisations like Rotary Clubs. Their business relationship changed into friendship and ended up in love. Paul liked Heather’s mix from toughness and being mild. Their romance gave Paul more creativity. Despite the happiness, he felt guilty. He taught: “Oh my gosh, I’ve had a wife for 30 years. Is it allowed? If Linda was alive, I’d be dead meat, she’d kill me. No way would I be getting away with this.” This bizarre contradiction disappeared together with the worry that the two have a difference in age from 20 years. Love and passion for each other conquered it all. Paul also knew that Linda would want him to be happy.

Staying with Both Feet’s on the Solid Ground

Paul McCartney is nowadays a fresh active six tier with sprinkling eyes and a great friendly smile. He won over the worst setbacks in life because he’s a fighter and never runs away from problems but solve them instead.

Paul McCartney is a Beatle forever and he’s proud of it. People who first met Paul and see him as a legend, millionaire and icon, have to be relaxed by the superstar himself. Although he is already for several years “sir” Paul McCartney, he prefers to dress in a colourful T-shirt, a bleu jeans and white running shoes. Paul stay’s with both feet’s on the solid ground by saying: “I’m kind of ordinary. I really am. I have the same joys and sorrows that a lot of people have”.

Luciana Pavarotti behind the Screens

Since Luciano Pavarotti began his carrier at the beginning of the sixties, he is grown out to become the world’s most famous tenor and attracted more attention towards the opera happening. But being worldwide famous does not always mean the same as being a socially skilled. The man behind the tenor, the superstar behind the screens can as well be a great human being as a complete opposite to that. Many superstars change their mask when they go from on stage to off stage, clearly also the case of Luciano Pavarotti.

It was only in 2003 that Belgian freelance journalist Dominique Trachet had the opportunity to get to know tenor Luciano Pavarotti as a human being to make an interview for the magazine “Dag Allemaal”. But getting to know Pavarotti in real life was for the journalist a very cold shower.

Dominique visited Pavarotti in his villa on the hill with view on the beach of the Italian Pesaro for a promotional interview. At that time, Pavarotti just brought out a brand new CD called ‘Ti Adoro”, his very first pop record. Pavarotti’s press chef had already given a list of taboo subjects to the journalist, absolutely not allowed to talk about during the interview. Luciano’s young women Nicoletta had given birth at a twin Alice and Ricardo of who the last mentioned not survived the birth. This was one of the subjects which could absolutely not be talked about. The press chef also did not allow the journalist to ask questions at the opera star about the difficulties with the taxman and the conflict with Pavarotti’s first woman.

But when journalist Dominique finally met the tenor Luciano Pavarotti for the very first time, it was completely opposite than that he expected. Pavarotti did not look well, even unhealthy, giving the impression of someone who was heavy on medications, although he just had coloured his eyebrows and his hair. Despite the fact that Pavarotti knew very well that it was an interview, he clearly didn’t feel liked talking to the journalist. During the whole uneasy conversation, Pavarotti did not even look once the journalist straight into the eyes. He was not unfriendly but just very close to being hostile. Every form of real friendliness, which he shows on stage, was just not around. Dominique did expect that same friendly tenor from public appearances, also in private, but that was clearly a miss calculation. Pavarotti did not interest himself at all at the on going conversation. Aside that, he gave the impression that he is a spoiled, arrogant and egocentric personality. The only moment that Pavarotti did show some friendliness was during the shooting of the photos for the article. But even that friendliness was obviously fake.

Also before shooting the photos, there were complications. The condition was that the journalist would sit in front of Pavarotti so that the tenor’s impressive hughe stomach should not be seen on the photos.

Still, Luciano Pavarotti did answer on Dominique’s question what he had learned during his life and carrier and the tenor said: “Modesty, something that took me a lot of time to learn”. Dominique asks him also what the tenor thought about the Peruan tenor Juan Diego Florez, seen by many as the new Pavarotti. The original answered: “I do not think that there ever will be another Pavarotti. I am as a human being and as singer unique”.

Be skeptical of anyone who says he's sick of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton.

Both names are among the 10 most popular search terms this year in separate lists published recently by Yahoo, Google and Lycos.

The rankings provide a window into the public psyche. And what the public wants -- despite the wealth of online information ranging from scholarly research to classic novels -- is celebrity.

"The country is obsessed with pop culture," said Nancy Evars, who oversees Yahoo's Buzz Index, a compilation of what's hot and not among users of the Web site's search engine.

Leading Yahoo's rankings of the most-searched-for terms this year were the hit television program "American Idol," reality show and sex tape star Paris Hilton and pop singer Jessica Simpson. Singer Britney Spears and the best-selling Harry Potter series of books and movies followed.

Search companies track the most popular search terms for no other reason than they can. They also share the information with marketers. Companies use the information, sometimes in daily or hourly installments, to gauge how well their advertising is doing and to measure consumer interest in a product.

Rankings are published online as often as once a week for the public to see.

On Google, the top search queries for 2004 included Spears, Hilton, singer Christina Aguilera, actress Pamela Anderson and the term "chat."

On Lycos, the people inspiring the most queries were Spears, Hilton, Janet Jackson, "American Idol" runner-up Clay Aiken and Nick Berg, the American who was beheaded in Iraq earlier this year.

America Online and Ask Jeeves have published similar lists, with only slightly different findings.

"It's easy to look at the list and say that it is a result of pimply faced teenage boys trying to look at Janet Jackson's" breast, said Dean Tsouvalas, who compiles Lycos' search list, who points out that 75-year-old men looking for Bible passages are also punching in requests.

Janet Jackson's popularity on Lycos soared after her infamous "wardrobe malfunction" during the Super Bowl halftime show in February. Even a subsequent drop in interest couldn't keep her from claiming the top annual spot on Lycos.

Which terms make the top 10 rankings vary from company to company, depending on the interests of their users. There are also slight variations in the rules the companies follow.

Both Yahoo, in Sunnyvale, and Lycos, in Waltham, Mass., exclude sexual terms and generic words such as "weather." They generally include plurals and misspellings in the total.

Google, in Mountain View, declined to disclose its policies.

In addition to the overall annual list, the search engines compile rankings in a range of special categories. "Ugg boot" topped the popular shoe category on Google, Usher led in lyrics on Yahoo and Evanescence was the top band on Lycos.

Of course, what's a popular query one year isn't necessarily so in subsequent years. Several terms faded from the spotlight they enjoyed in 2003.

Kazaa, the online file-sharing service, was the No. 1 overall search term on both Yahoo and Lycos in 2003. This year, it was absent from the Yahoo top 10 and No. 6 on Lycos.

The drop probably reflects the changing online legal landscape. The music industry continued a crackdown on file sharing and users of services such as Kazaa in 2004.

"We see things that are bubbling up," said Tsouvalas of Lycos.

He mentioned eDonkey, an online file-sharing service that competes with Kazaa, the Oompah Loompah characters in the upcoming Tim Burton film, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (a remake of "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory") and Atkins Diet, because many people want to lose weight after the holidays.

The golden age of celebrity rumors may be coming to an end. As Britney Spears spreads her legs to the world and Nicole Richie gets arrested driving north in the southbound lane, truth may at last have outstripped semi-fiction. Today's celebrities have so little left to hide. But fear not, scandal-mongers! The past remains a bottomless well of salacity. In tribute, we present our picks for the forty best celebrity rumors ever. Dive in. But be careful. This stuff doesn't wash off.

Kiddie idols meet grisly end

Did you hear that Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Mario Lopez (Zack and Slater from Saved by the Bell) died in a car accident? You may have around 1993, when rumors of the stars' demise spread like wildfire across the nation's middle schools. (We won't implicate our middle school by name, but we did have an honest-to-God moment of silence in English class.) Of course, the stars of Saved by the Bell are all doing fine, and have gone on to lucrative careers in amateur porn (Dustin Diamond), amateur dancing (Mario Lopez), and amateur porn-dancing (Elizabeth Berkeley). But the public's thirst for grisly death rumors about beloved stars has not been sated; in 1999, Blue's Clues host Steve Burns suffered a "heroin overdose," and just a month ago Tom Hanks "fell off a cliff."

J. Edgar Hoover cross-dressed
FBI director J. Edgar Hoover was such a mean son-of-a-bitch it's no surprise that people whispered about him. Rumors that Hoover was gay or a cross-dresser have circulated for decades; one claim comes from Anthony Summers' 1993 biography Official and Confidential: The Secret Life of J. Edgar Hoover. Susan Rosenstiel, the ex-wife of liquor-industry chair Lewis Rosenstiel, claimed she had seen Hoover in a dress, stockings, heels and wig at a party hosted by gadfly lawyer Roy Cohn. This seems fairly unlikely; historian Athan Theoharis notes that anyone as secretive and power-obsessed as Hoover would never have been so blatant about a predilection that could be embarrassing. We may never know the truth.

Milton Berle had the biggest penis in Hollywood
You can die satisfied when your enormous penis has been mentioned, even tangentially, in the New Yorker. Milton Berle got just that honor, though he'd already kicked off; a 2002 story about the Friars Club memorial roast of Berle features Freddie Roman remarking, "We are here to honor Milton Berle, who passed away on March 27th. On May 1st and May 2nd, his penis will be buried." The New Yorker story is a fitting homage to Berle's colossal member, which for many years was, indeed, the talk of the town. Berle and the big penis shared many adventures; most famously, writer Alan Zweibel alleged that Berle had shown him his penis during rehearsals for his infamous Saturday Night Live appearance. Zweibel confirmed the penis's large size.

Stevie Nicks' alternate cocaine-delivery method
Supposedly, Fleetwood Mac's gypsy songstress, hoping to spare her vocal cords from her severe blow habit, got a little help from a coke-straw-bearing groupie. Nicks tends to be pretty forthright about her history of cocaine abuse, and she denies this story. But that doesn't mean that it didn't happen. We all know "Gold Dust Woman" was autobiographical, but maybe the phrase "roadie blowing coke up my ass" didn't fit the rhyme scheme.

Marisa Tomei won an Oscar by mistake
Many critics have their complaints about Marisa Tomei's Best Supporting Actress win for My Cousin Vinny in 1992 — so many, in fact, that a rumor materialized to explain it. According to lore, the presenter of the award, Jack Palance, couldn't read Vanessa Redgrave's name on the envelope and blurted out the name of the last nominee he had announced: Tomei. Other versions claim Palance uttered the wrong name because he was too stoned to know better, or because he had a crush on Tomei. Journalist Steve Pond, who covers the Oscars for Premiere, addresses the story directly in his book, The Big Show: High Times and Dirty Dealings Backstage at the Academy Awards. He writes that PricewaterhouseCoopers representatives "have very clear instructions that if a presenter opens the envelope and says the wrong name, they are to walk on stage, stop the show and announce the correct winner." Tomei quieted the chatter (somewhat) by receiving another nomination for In the Bedroom in 2001.

Walt Disney is cryogenically frozen beneath the Pirates of the Caribbean
According to rumors, Uncle Walt was many things besides the father of Mickey Mouse: a Nazi, an anti-Semite, a communist. The most persistent tale, though, is that Disney was so obsessed with immortality that he made arrangements to have himself cryogenically frozen after death. Ever since Disney shuffled off this mortal coil in 1966, popular myth has found him frozen beneath the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in California's Disneyland. Two biographies, Marc Eliot's Walt Disney: Hollywood's Dark Prince and Leonard Mosley's Disney's World, have kept this rumor alive and kicking. But though cryogenic freezing was a popular topic in the late '50s and early '60s, there's no evidence whatsoever that Disney had any specific interest or even knowledge of cryogenics, outside of dodgy anecdotal evidence. Who knows? Maybe one day Disney will be re-animated and will go on to rule the world with his legions of cartoon anthropomorphs enforcing his terrible will. We've seen Epcot Center. It's possible.

Prince Harry's father is not Prince Charles
It was clear — and tacitly accepted — that after only a few years of marriage, Prince Charles and Princess Diana were cheating on each other. Prince Harry was born in September 1984, and after the public glimpsed his puglike features and red hair, rumors began to circulate that he was the product of Diana's affair with army officer Major James Hewitt. Diana publicly admitted her liaison in 1995, but insisted that she met Hewitt too late for him to be Harry's father. Hewitt too claims that he first met Diana in May of 1986, when Harry was twenty months old. Simone Simmons, a former close friend of the Princess, wrote Diana: The Last Word, a book serialized in The Sun. In it, she clamed that Diana was forced to carry out paternity tests on both Harry and his brother, Prince William. The tests reportedly showed that both boys were fathered by Prince Charles.

Napoleon's Bonaparte is a collector's item
A number of famous penises are said to be floating about the world, having various adventures long after their owners went toes-up. John Dillinger's is said to be in the Smithsonian, and the Russian Museum of Erotica proudly boasts Rasputin's. But the Holy Grail of infamous dongs is that of Napoleon Bonaparte. Bonaparte's autopsy was performed in 1821 by his personal doctor, in the presence of seventeen witnesses, including seven British doctors and a priest. Organs removed from Napoleon included his heart, which he requested be delivered to his wife, and his stomach, which the assembled experts agreed was ridden with cancer and the cause of Napoleon's demise. Accounts of the autopsy claim the penis was small (guy couldn't catch a break), but there's no mention of its removal. In 1916, the priest's descendants sold off a collection of Naploeonic relics that included "the mummified tendon taken from Napoleon's body during the post-mortem." The memento has since changed hands a number of times; the latest story is that American urologist John Lattimer bought it at auction in 1977. Lattimer defends its authenticity today, but it's hard to disagree with Sir Arthur Keith's 1913 argument that, given the number of witnesses at the autopsy, someone probably would have noticed if his penis went missing.
